Training Overview

On-Ice Training

We provide a high-intensity on-ice curriculum, implemented each day by our professional staff. Our on-ice training focuses on speed, intensity, puck movement, small area games, battles, and competitions.  In addition, we include individual skill development to better allow our athletes the ability to incorporate their individual skills into the overall development and game situations created during on-ice training.

  • Focus on all Hockey Skills

  • Skating Quickness, Speed, and Agility

  • Improve Players' Ability to Play Smart and Hard in all kinds of Game-Like Situations

  • Hockey IQ and Game Concepts

  • Compete Drills

Dryland/Strength & Conditioning Training

Our focus is based on the further development of hockey-specific skills and the introduction to strength training.  We want our athletes to continue to fine-tune their hockey-specific skills to allow for increased confidence and success in on-ice situations.  We also want to introduce and form an understanding of the importance of strength training and how to be effective, efficient, and above all, safe.  We do this through exercises and drills that develop the core muscle groups necessary for the on-ice demands.

  • Hockey-Specific Skills Development (shooting, puckhandling, multi-tasking)

  • Core Strength and Stability

  • Lower and Upper Body Muscular Strength and Endurance

  • Speed, Agility, and Quickness

NEW! On-Ice and Off-Ice Testing

Each player will be tested both on and off the ice throughout the summer. Every other Friday will be testing day, utilizing our exclusive xHockeyProducts training equipment. We will put your athlete through various tests that will focus on every aspect of the game.  The results will reflect the athletes hard work and efforts throughout the summer.  Our coaches aim to push your athlete to continue to improve their scores every week and will prove to them that IT IS ALL ABOUT THE END RESULT!
